Day 90: Matthew 10:31

"So don't be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows." ~Matthew 10:31, NLT

Matthew 10:26-31 is one of the most quoted sections in the Bible when it comes to dealing with fear. Essentially, Jesus is telling his disciples how much they mean to God. v29 He says, "What is the human price for two sparrows - a penny? But not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing." (paraphrased)


God values every piece of his creation. Even if we don't appreciate something as small as a sparrow, God sees it and He cares about it. We as humans are the pinnacle of His creation; how much more does He care about us? With a love so deep and wide that we can't comprehend! (Ephesians 3:18) So don't be afraid!
