"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." ~Psalm 139:14, NIV
Today I wanted to remind you guys that one way to defeat fear is to focus on God through praise, and that's why today's verse describes one of the reasons David praised God. Psalm 139 is one of those "real" psalms that describes life as it is - hard. But despite those challenges, we can always look to God to save us, and we can remember who He is, what He's done, and give Him the glory due.
Look at the night sky, see what He's made. Look at the trees and animals around you, see what He's made. Look at your family, look at yourself, see what He's made! Hands that move, eyes that see, ears that hear, a mind that creates, the ability to love...
He loves you. So what are you afraid of?
