"Fear not; you will no longer live in shame. Don’t be afraid; there is no more disgrace for you. You will no longer remember the shame of your youth and the sorrows of widowhood." ~Isaiah 54:4, NLT
Here, Isaiah is personifying Jerusalem as a woman. God was promising the city that they would be saved, that there would be future glory for them. That's where this verse comes into play.
We as humans, we as a community don't have to fear or live in shame, thanks to God. Fear not. God's command. Fear not. It's not just our enemies, it the shame they bring onto us as a people; there is none of that.
God's word is true in its entirety, and if you believe that, then you must act on it. I bring to light to you this verse; it's up to you to allow God to help you cast off fear. And God is big enough to do so.
