"I will be your God throughout your lifetime—until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you" ~Isaiah 46:4, NLT
In this chapter, God is condemning Babylon for the false gods that they had. He then speaks to the captive Israelites, proclaiming that He will be their God, and that He will be with them.
This verse shows that God won't leave us or abandon us - He is always God, and that fact never changes, and He will always take care of us - He made us, after all! It's a promise to be faithful, even if we aren't. Knowing God's in control and love us?
